Soft Power Education is a British registered, non-religious charity, working closely within the local community of Jinja, Uganda. Our aim is to develop and improve educational facilities for children mainly in the primary sector.

Soft Power Education helps the school children of Uganda in three ways, through:

• A school refurbishment program
• Independent travellers, university groups and overland passengers volunteering to work at the schools
• Groups and individuals around the world supporting our work through inspiring fundraising

Having built two pre-schools for Aids orphans, we have embarked on a five year project to refurbish, up to Government standard, the 20 Government Primary Schools in the Budondo sub-county of Jinja. We are fortunate enough to find ourselves in the rare position of being able to affect a phenomenal improvement in the lives and education of the children in Jinja and are actively seeking donations and volunteers in the UK, Europe and the rest of the world. We are 100% charity and every single penny donated to Soft Power Education goes straight back into our projects enabling us to make a difference.

We provide volunteer opportunities for people worldwide to live and work abroad in Uganda whilst offering the following experiences:-
